Another benchmark in manufacturing

The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), a part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), enabling a sustainable built environment for all and facilitating India to be one of the global leaders in the sustainable built environment, awarded the 'IGBC Platinum’ rating to The Hi-Tech Gears Ltd. under their IGBC Green Factory Building Rating system. This rating has been given by IGBC on 05th June 2017.

The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has launched IGBC Green Factory Building Rating System to encourage green concepts and techniques in industrial sector. Green concepts and techniques in industrial sector helps to address national priorities like handling consumer waste, water efficiency, reduction in use of fossil fuels, energy efficiency and conserving natural resources.

Uniformity of composition & structure, grain flow aligned to the contour of forging and grain size number between 5-8 ASTM of each produced forging assures higher strength, reproducible response to heat treatment, minimum variation in machinability, and consistent property levels of finished parts.

Important to note that The Hi-Tech Gears adopted ‘Green ECOFAC’ as one of the core operational philosophy at beginning of decade and built its new benchmark and eco-friendly infrastructure Plant-III in 2011 at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. As a part of our social commitment we have achieved yet another feat where our Plant – II at Manesar, Haryana has been awarded IGBC Platinum rating.

With the 'IGBC Platinum', Plant-II facility not only affirmed its sustained commitment towards environment but raised the bar within The Hi-Tech Group.
